This is a fantastic recipe to start your Active Squirtz in the kitchen! They will love mashing up the bananas with a fork or potato masher and stirring in the oats with a wooden spoon. This is loads of FUN and children can practice fine-motor skills while you chat about make healthy food choices.

2 ripe bananas, mashed

1 cup oats (quick, regular or gluten-free)

Preheat oven to 180 degrees

Mix ingredients together

Shape into walnut sized balls with your hand or a teaspoon, flatten down slightly

Bake for 15 minutes

Mix up the flavour with your squirtz favourite add-ins:

- Vanilla paste (our favourite)

- Cacao powder

- Sultanas or cranberries

- Cinnamon

- Chia seeds

- Grated apple

- Desiccated coconut

- Sunflower or pepita seeds

If the mixture becomes too dry with add-ins just add a splash milk
